How to Schedule an Appointment
If you wish to make an appointment with one of our artists to get tattooed, there are a some things you should take note of:
All artists require a deposit upon scheduling your appointment. This deposit is non-refundable but can be transferred if you move your appointment and will come off of the final price at the end of your tattoo.
Cat: $40 deposit
Shay: $40 deposit
Mike: $50 deposit
If you need to reschedule, you must give us at least 24 hour notice. Failure to do so will result in loss of deposit and you will need to put down another one.
The minimum price for tattoos is $60. The total cost of your tattoo depends on the size, detail, and placement.
It is by Law in New York State that you must be at least 18 to get tattooed, regardless of parental permission. This also means that you must provide proof of age with a photo ID the day of your appointment.
Scheduling a tattoo appointment-
The first step to scheduling a tattoo with us is to pick your artist! We have 3 different artists here and they all have their own styles. You can take a look at their portfolios by clicking here or you may pop into the shop during business hours to look at their work. Next, message your selected artist (Facebook is the main communication for each of our artists) and see if they are currently booking appointments. If so, Your next message should include all of the following information:
What you are wanting- try to explain the best way you can if you have no photos. Even if it is an idea you have completely come up with yourself.
Reference photos- any photo you can find that has your idea, style or any aspect you would like to see in your tattoo.
Location/Body part placement- Where/what part of your body do you want your tattoo to be placed on. This detail is very important because the tattoo may need to be designed around the shape of your body part.
There will come a time when the artist you have selected is fully booked and no longer taking appointments at the moment. However, we do have a waiting/cancellation call in list.
On the day of your appointment:
Make sure you have your ID!
You will have already given your artist artwork a head of time, so you should not need to bring any more reference photos. If you decide that you wish to change your design, please tell your artist a head of time! It will save you both a lot of time if you touch base and get everything in order a head of time.
Make sure that you have eaten before your appointment. This will prevent you from the possibility of getting light headed, sweaty, or passing out due to low blood sugar.
